We are a husband and wife team of City & Guilds qualified Groomers and have a modern grooming salon based in our home in Portishead.

We offer a wide variety of grooming services that cater for most breeds. We also offer Ultrasonic teeth cleaning and nail clipping/grinding. We use the full range of Melanie Newman Salon Essentials. Shampoos, conditioners and conditioning leave in sprays. They’re a professional range of organic, completely natural products that offer superb cleaning & refreshing, power for you dogs coat. There are 5 varieties in the range and we specifically select the right one depending on your dogs coat type.

BATH/DRY MINI GROOM

INITIAL FREE YOUNG PUPPY VISIT
A gentle one to one introduction to grooming. Initially a play, getting used to the sounds & smells of the salon. Progression dependent on the pups confidence. Puppies from 12 weeks. Approx 15 mins Free of charge followed by bath/dry appointment leading to a full groom.
ULTRASONIC TEETH CLEANING
The Emmi Pet ultrasonic toothbrush is completely silent, non vibrating and non invasive. Using a special microchipped toothbrush, special toothpaste and water we can breakdown tartar, plaque and kill bacteria. Contact us for prices.
NAIL TRIM
We use nail clippers or a Dremel grinder depending on the nails and dogs confidence from £12.50

ABOUT US & CONTACT
Welcome to Hotdogs, we’re a husband and wife team, both City & Guilds qualified and both experienced dog owners and handlers. Over the years we’ve homed various pets including cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, rats and chickens to name but a few. But our love has always been dogs and during the last 30 years have kept Golden Retrievers and bred Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. We’ve also puppy walked for Guide Dogs for the Blind. So a career where we could spend our days working with dogs was the perfect choice for us. We share our home with our 3 grown up children and our family dogs, Gunner a Lab Retriever and Elvis a Standard Poodle.
